Join Heathfield Silver Band!
Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument in a group? Heathfield Silver Band is a friendly, non-contesting community brass band looking for new members of all ages and abilities. We rehearse in our own band room in Heathfield and play a variety of music, from traditional marches and hymns to film scores, pop arrangements, and festive Christmas music.
What We Offer:
Learn to play the cornet (or other brass instrument) in our relaxed training sessions on Tuesdays before the main band rehearsal (which starts at 7:30 pm). No prior musical experience is necessary as we teach you all the techniques to play. Plus we teach you how to read music and rhythms. We even loan you an instrument for free!
*Just over £1 a week for adults (usually paid yearly), half price for children.
*Make new friends and be part of a supportive musical family.
*We regularly perform at local events throughout the year.
